A Trauma-Informed Approach That Creates Real Change
At Capstone, we’ve designed our care model to answer a profound question: “What does it take for a child who has experienced trauma to truly feel safe, seen, and supported?”

Our Theory of Change Framework
What Problem Are We Addressing?
Many children entering care have experienced trauma, loss, instability, or institutional neglect. These experiences affect trust, behaviour, and emotional well-being.
What Will Capstone Do?
Create a warm, calm, home-like space. Train practitioners in trauma-informed care, build routines and meaningful relationships, support emotional development through play, and encourage youth community involvement.
What Will the Outcome Be?
Children will feel secure and empowered. Long-term outcomes include emotional regulation, stronger social bonds, and confident adulthood transitions.
